This Shelby Cobra is one of only forty, 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Shelby Cobras ever built! It is a 1965 model, CSX4000 ALUMINUM BODIED Cobra, manufactured by Shelby American in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Built in 2002, Carroll Shelby commissioned this model to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Shelby American. Special Shelby equipment includes "Anniversary Blue" factory paint, unique 40th anniversary badges, and factory installed front and rear chrome bumpers. It has also been hand signed by Carroll Shelby!

The Cobra is equipped with an all aluminum, 550 HP Shelby 427 side-oiler engine, bored and stroked to 468 C. I. and mated with a Toploader 4 speed transmission. Equipment options include a chrome roll bar and ceramic coated "chrome" side pipes. A copy of the original factory MSO goes with the car.

This one is fully sorted out with 23,000 miles on the odometer, The engine has been rebuilt to factory specs, and the body has been repainted the correct Anniversary Blue to eliminate road rash from ten years of street use. Approximately 6,000 miles on the odometer since restoration.
